The Royal Anthropological Institute (RAI) are supporting an incredible online exhibition entitled 'illustrating anthropology'. Starting in September 2020 the RAI will be releasing new illustrations every week over the next ten weeks. You can also follow the latest releases on the @Illustrating_Anthropology Instagram account.
The images are captivatingly beautiful and all explore the global experience of being human through comics, drawings, and paintings of anthropological research.
If you are interested in how researchers use illustration as a method to capture their experiences of fieldwork, or how research participants put pens to pad to explain their lives, this exhibition draws together a wide range of contemporary illustration by anthropologists.
